Europe Tour

I was invited to be a guest speaker at the Pictoplasma Festival in Berlin, April 9-10th, 2010. On a European tour titled " Sausages and Pubs" to London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Helsinki, I collaborated with Jon Boam, Maxwell Paternoster, Miss Lotion, Michael Ritz, Anders Arhoj, Sune Ehlers, and EKTA.

BIG Drawing and Interview

Fifty24SF gallery put me up in a downtown San Francisco apartment for one week in October. I made my biggest drawing to date while there. Window display currently installed at Fifty24SF , San Francisco.

Didn't Make It Two

Pretty Problems at El Kartel Vancouver, Feb 2010

This exhibit of 50 new works is on display during the Vancouver Winter Olympics. I am happy to be hosted by El Kartel for this solo show, because they have a very positive vibe for life and art. Pretty Problems is accompanied with a publication generously produced by Koyama Press and published through Islands Fold. The exhibit stems from personal expression about the government, the Olympics and using the work to comfort mind and find the heart in art. It's about recognizing the dark, but more importantly-feeling the light. The mural on the wall, is titled" The Extinction of Man." The show will be up through March.

Saliva Comic

Here's a comic about the sacred herb salvia. It's currently published in the free comic papers Smoke Signal #3 and Free Drawings #6.

Euroman

Here's an editorial piece I did for a glossy Danish lifestyle magazine called Euroman. The writing is about having the technology like the Terminator's vision, but using it do do daily tasks, as oposed to sizing up potential enemies.

Dogs in School on Art Bastard

Phish

I did some work for the legendary band Phish. Their new album is now available and got a 4 star review in Rolling Stone Magazine. They also have a box set that comes with ten individual Limited Edition posters (designed by a different artist for each of the album's ten songs.) I made this psychedelic poster for one of the songs.

Prepare For Pictopia

This is the second Pictoplasma book I've participated in. I feel fortunate to say that this is one of my favorite books to be a part of. Too many artists to mention, but I'll mention some favorites included: Shobohobo, Eric Shaw, Matt Lock, Friends With You, Jeremey Dower, Mark Ryden and an essay by Paul McCarthy. Pictoplasma are from Berlin, but they are representing the world of character design and art. They publish quality books and host mega conferences and exhibits.
