This exhibit of 50 new works is on display during the Vancouver Winter Olympics. I am happy to be hosted by El Kartel for this solo show, because they have a very positive vibe for life and art. Pretty Problems is accompanied with a publication generously produced by Koyama Press and published through Islands Fold. The exhibit stems from personal expression about the government, the Olympics and using the work to comfort mind and find the heart in art. It's about recognizing the dark, but more importantly-feeling the light. The mural on the wall, is titled" The Extinction of Man." The show will be up through March.
