I am participating in a Pictoplasma Exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Bordeaux, France. Opening Dec 31st, 2008- Jan 14th, 2009. Pictoplasma is putting out a book titled Pen to Paper. Various artists from this book were invited to exhibit for this show. The show moves on to Berlin's Haus der Kulturen der Welt art institute in May, 2009. This is my first time showing art in a museum, so I decided to spend a week on the biggest, most detailed drawing I've ever done (19" x 25"). It's titled" Bent" and was drawn using one pen.
I also sent out this series titled "Heart and Mind." This is a story that shows the transformation of a baby to an elderly man. The baby's mind is born with a peaceful mind, but as it grows older it's mind becomes corrupt. The heart eventually prevails. Allot of my work explores ideas about the balance of heart and mind. This story was published in Cafe Royal (UK) Number Two.
